17 pa¼dziernika

Sprawa czarki nie daje mi spokoju. Wiem, ¿e mo¿e byæ gdziekolwiek, mog³a zostaæ zgubiona, a pó¼niej znów znaleziona, mog³a kilkadziesi±t razy zmieniaæ w³a¶ciciela, a nawet zostaæ zniszczona. Jednak mam niejasne przeczucie, ¿e jest gdzie¶ blisko, tu¿ obok mnie, czekaj±c, by kto¶ tego godny móg³ j± posi±¶æ. Jednak co mi zostaje? Przeszukiwanie ca³ego zamku? Poszukiwanie jakichkolwiek, na pierwszy rzut oka nic nieznacz±cych, informacji w bibliotece (notabene w dziale ksi±g zakazanych)?
Po po³udniu postanowi³em przej¶æ siê na d³ug± k±piel do ³azienki prefektów. W koñcu po wys³uchaniu kilkunastu gadek moralizuj±cych Dumbledore’a co¶ mi siê od ¿ycia nale¿y? By³a pora obiadu, wiêc ruszy³em przez opustosza³y korytarz, o¶wietlony jedynie przez pochodnie. Stan±³em przed drzwiami. Ciekawi mnie, od jak dawna has³o brzmi „Sosnowa ¶wie¿o¶æ” i czy kiedykolwiek szanowny dyrektor zamierza je zmieniæ… Wszed³em do do¶æ du¿ego pomieszczenia. By³o ca³kowicie puste. Chocia¿ w porównaniu z innymi ³azienkami muszê przyznaæ, ¿e wygl±da³o imponuj±co. Wszystko wykonane by³o z marmuru. ¦wiat³o s±czy³o siê jedynie z naje¿onego ¶wiecami kandelabru. Okna przys³ania³y p³ócienne zas³ony. Ze ¶cianek basenu stercza³y z³ote krany. Podszed³em bli¿ej. Odkrêci³em kilka najbli¿ej mnie znajduj±cych siê kranów, których zastosowania nie zna³em, bo muszê przyznaæ, ¿e nie mia³em ochoty sprawdzaæ po kolej wszystkich (bior±c pod uwagê, ¿e jest ich kilkadziesi±t). Wsun±³em siê do wody o zapachu ¶wie¿ej miêty. Rozlu¼ni³em siê. Przep³yn±³em kilka d³ugo¶ci basenu, gdy niczym niezm±con± ciszê przerwa³o wej¶cie jakiej¶ dziewczyny o mysich w³osach, szarych oczach i zdecydowanie za d³ugim nosie, która, s±dz±c po szatach i odznace, by³a prefektem Hufflepuffu. Rozejrza³a siê i widz±c mnie zanurzonego w wodzie wyj±ka³a:

- Masz takie ³adne, ciemne w³osy, ¶licznie kontrastuj± siê z twoj± blad± cer±… - powiedzia³a jednocze¶nie idiotycznie chichocz±c w ten denerwuj±cy, zarezerwowany tylko dla g³upich Puchnek z pi±tego roku sposób.
Chocia¿ mo¿e bardziej poruszy³by mnie ten, w jej mniemaniu, komplement, gdybym podobnych, ma³o inteligentnych tekstów nie s³ysza³ przynajmniej kilka razy dziennie.
Po jeszcze kilku minutach, w których Lia niezrêcznie próbowa³a nawi±zaæ rozmowê, postanowi³em zrezygnowaæ z k±pieli. Wyszed³em z ³azienki. Jako, ¿e by³o ju¿ po obiedzie, korytarze sta³y siê niezno¶nie zat³oczone. Pod±¿y³em do lochów, gdzie zawsze panowa³a z³owroga cisza.
