Widzia�em j�. Mama trzyma�a j� w ramionach, kiedy weszli�my na sal�. By�a taka… rozpromieniona.
-Draco! Zobacz, oto twoja siostrzyczka!- powiedzia�a rado�nie, odchylaj�c r�g jasnego kocyka. -Chod�, przywitaj si� z Laur�… to tw�j nowy braciszek, wiesz?- gaworzy�a do ma�ej. Prze�kn��em �lin� i podszed�em.
Laura Malfoy. To nie mo�e by� moja siostra! , pomy�la�em szybko i wyrwa�o mi si�:

-Spokojnie, wszystkie niemowl�ta wygl�daj� w�a�nie tak. To stuprocentowa dziewczynka, bardzo zdrowa i dobrze rozwini�ta.- powiedzia�a, u�miechaj�c si� czule. -Po narodzinach nie wygl�da si� tak, jak ty teraz, synku. Laura b�dzie �liczna, zobaczysz, ma takie m�dre, jasne oczy, zupe�nie jak ty i tata.
Skoro ma takie same oczy, nie mo�e by� cudza…

-Synku, noworodki nie potrafi� m�wi�.- mama roze�mia�a si� znowu. -Ale poczekaj par� lat, b�dziesz m�g� z ni� porozmawia�. No, co, male�ka, co, �pij, kochana, �pij…- zanuci�a mama cicho. Tata odchrz�kn�� i podszed� do ��ka.
-Narcyzo, przyszli�my specjalnie si� z tob� zobaczy�.- powiedzia� bardzo cicho, ale ja i tak us�ysza�em. Poczu�em si� nagle bardzo nie na miejscu przy mamie i mojej ma�ej siostrze (postanowi�em w ramach aklimatyzowania si� w nowej sytuacji u�ywa� tego okre�lenia jak najcz�ciej). Spojrza�em na rodzic�w i chcia�em powiedzie�, �e id� do barku, ale oni chyba nie zwracali na mnie uwagi. Mama patrzy�a na tat� ze zdumieniem i s�ucha�a go, nie przestaj�c tuli� ma�ej. Westchn��em wi�c i wyszed�em cicho, a potem uda�em si� do baru. Zam�wi�em sobie lody z czekoladow� polew� i orzechami, ale kiedy kelnerka mi je poda�a, nie mia�em na nie ochoty, cho� przecie� by�em g�odny (w ko�cu nie zjad�em u Rogers�w obiadu, a raczej go nie dosta�em) i lody uwielbiam. Zmusi�em si� jednak do spr�bowania, cho� w g�owie mia�em pe�no my�li. Jedna kr�lowa�a: co to b�dzie teraz, gdy mama i ta… Laura wr�c� do domu? Jak b�dzie wygl�da�o nasze �ycie w czw�rk�??

Ojciec wys�ucha� mnie z uwag� a potem powiedzia� tylko ‘Dobrze’ i zostawi� mnie w bibliotece (tylko ‘dobrze’ za ten przygotowywany pieczo�owicie, przekonuj�cy opis mojej m�czarni w domu oraz delikatno�ci wobec uczu� mojej matki?! Szczyt!) a w dwie godziny p�niej, kiedy poszli�my si� przej�� do ogrodu po kolacji, podczas gdy mama usypia�a Laur�, rozmawiali�my o wszystkich drobnych sprawach, jak zawsze, jak zawsze przed narodzeniem si� mojej siostry. To by�a naprawd� du�a ulga, poczu� wreszcie powiew normalno�ci w tym dusznym domu.
W pewnej chwili ojciec oznajmi� mi, �e powinni�my ju� wraca�, bo robi si� p�no, a ja musz� jutro rano wcze�nie wsta�.
