Widzia�em j�. Mama trzyma�a j� w ramionach, kiedy weszli�my na sal�. By�a taka… rozpromieniona.

Westchn��em wi�c i wyszed�em cicho, a potem uda�em si� do baru. Zam�wi�em sobie lody z czekoladow� polew� i orzechami, ale kiedy kelnerka mi je poda�a, nie mia�em na nie ochoty, cho� przecie� by�em g�odny (w ko�cu nie zjad�em u Rogers�w obiadu, a raczej go nie dosta�em) i lody uwielbiam. Ojciec wys�ucha� mnie z uwag� a potem powiedzia� tylko ‘Dobrze’ i zostawi� mnie w bibliotece (tylko ‘dobrze’ za ten przygotowywany pieczo�owicie, przekonuj�cy opis mojej m�czarni w domu oraz delikatno�ci wobec uczu� mojej matki?! Szczyt!) a w dwie godziny p�niej, kiedy poszli�my si� przej�� do ogrodu po kolacji, podczas gdy mama usypia�a Laur�, rozmawiali�my o wszystkich drobnych sprawach, jak zawsze, jak zawsze przed narodzeniem si� mojej siostry.
